It's a bit of a media myth that all students are young 18-24 year olds who spend lots of time avoiding study. If you look at the entire student population then people's ages range from the young to the old.
Studying is for anyone
There's lots of people studying in education that are classed as mature students. Often these students have full parental obligations and study either part-time or in the evenings.
Some manage to cleverly juggle their hectic lives and study full time too.
The message is clear though - not matter what your personal circumstances - studying is for everyone and anyone.
