Wales 'leading the way’ in Student Partnership But risks FE Setback
On 29 December 2010, Leighton Andrews, Minister for Education and Skills, stated his intention to reduce the number of Higher Education Institutions (HEI's) in Wales down to size - what he described as 'a sustainable size for Wales'. He stated that his overall goal is to create a "a smaller number of stronger universities”
"With challenging but exciting times ahead I could not be happier to start work for NUS Wales and Student Unions across the country."

This campaign aims to encourage students to “speak out” against potentially illegal and discriminatory actions against them. The areas the campaign will focus on are the following: Cultural Intolerance, Homophobia, Sexual harassment, Bullying, Ageism, Disability discrimination and physical abuse
