A full 12 months of discount heaven

The NUS Extra card is valid between 1 September 2008 and 31 August 2009, so there’s loads of time to save cash when you buy your card.

What does it cost?

NUS Extra costs just £10, not bad for something that’s going to save you a whole load of cash throughout the year.

Only students are eligible to buy the card

Only students can get hold of an NUS Extra card. Either buy direct from here  and collect your card from your students’ union, or go down to your union  and ask to purchase the card.

Democracy cards

The NUS Democracy Card may be available free of charge as an alternative to a local college or union card. The Democracy card is not a discount card. If you have access to a student card through your union or college, you do not need a Democracy Card and therefore your union may not have any available.

Only available through NUS-affiliated students' unions, the Democracy card provides a form of student ID . The card represents your membership of your local union allowing you to access local union facilities, enables you to vote in your union elections and also participate in NUS' democratic events such as annual conference.

The Democracy Card does not provide access to any discounts or special offers.
