Over the last year we’ve challenged some of our internal processes, particularly focusing on our relationship with the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).
We’ll continue to work with RBS, constructively engaging with them in an open and transparent way over the issue of climate change. We’ll make sure you’re aware of the progress of these conversations.
Since we’re not a climate change campaigning organisation, we believe we should work with partners and experts to progress our environmental agenda. We’ve chosen to work with People and Planet, the largest student network in Britain campaigning to end world poverty, defend human rights and protect the environment.
Over the next twelve months, we’ll work closely with them, and other partners, to build an effective student movement approach – hopefully including you.
In addition, we’ll use this website as a tool to inform and empower you to have a sustainable education experience. Student life contains an entire section dedicated to how you can make a difference. Once you’ve made the changes, let us know about them.
