NUS represents more that 4.5 million learners through their students’ union in further education (FE) colleges across the UK.
Through this section of the website I lobby on behalf of all FE students to defend and improve their time at college, as well as the FE system as a whole.
Previous successes
- Learner voice: all college must now have at least two students on their governing body and a college-wide learner involvement strategy so they can effectively respond to the views of their students
- Student representatives on Learning and Skills Councils
- Massive increase in FE student involvement in NUS and colleges
