Broke and Broken is NUS' education funding campaign for 2008/09. Our National President Wes Streeting is leading the way - but this involves all of you - whether you're a student, a prospective student, the parent of a student or simply someone who cares about the future of education in Britain.

Many of you starting university now will be expecting to graduate with better employment prospects but also with soaring levels of debt. NUS believes that the system for funding education is broken and is looking to change the system for the better at the government review.  Others are looking to increase the cost of university, by increasing top-up fees to around £10,000 per year. Help us stop this from happening – join the Broke and Broken campaign.
