In the 2008/09 academic year NUS Services ran an innovative project, sponsored by Coca-Cola Great Britain, looking at how much energy is used by free supplier equipment, and how we can all save energy by managing the equipment effectively.
In February 2009 the project toolkit was launched.
The toolkit comprises ten short action sheets, one for each type of equipment, with each giving specific guidance for effective management and quantified expected savings.
