First published as a magazine, and now as a website, the Ecologist has been setting the Environmental agenda since 1970. In 1972, following the Ecologist’s hugely influential “Blueprint for survival” issue, the People Party was formed which went on to be the Ecology and then the Green Party. The Ecologist is radical, thought provoking and leads the environmental debate on topics that become mainstream only years later.
The Ecologist is an essential research resource for any student of environmental sciences, ecology, climate change or for anyone with an interest in a green and sustainable world.
The Ecologist provides daily news and analysis on the big environmental stories, comments and blogs from experts in their fields and leading green commentators, the latest on environmental campaigns such as Plane Stupid & Climate Camp, weekly investigations, TV & Radio programmes, a 40 year archive of Ecologist articles creating a roadmap of the environmental movement, and green living articles showing how you can live a sustainable and responsible life. The archive also serves as an essential research resource for students.
