NUS believe that how students feel about the quality of their courses is crucial to their experience. 

NUS and the National Student Survey (NSS) Ambassadors support students unions to give students the chance to comment on their courses and improve them through the National Student Survey. 

NSS Ambassadors are needed in each of the following regions:
• Scotland
• Wales
• Northern Ireland
• Midlands
• South East
• South West
• North West
• North East
• London
• Two NSS Ambassadors are also required to work exclusively with further education colleges in their local region

This role will appeal to:

• Anyone with an interest in shaping or improving the learning experience
• Those keen to develop their communication skills and work on a high profile national campaign
• Those who would like to have the opportunity to choose from a range of experiences such as writing articles, data analysis or research skills, or campaigning

Benefits of this role

NSS Ambassadors will gain formal training and certification of their volunteering experience, the opportunity to travel around their local region and be involved in a national research project.

Ambassadors will also have the opportunity to be awarded an additional allowance of up to £500 across the volunteer term.
