Education: Our Future Our Fight

NUS Scotland's priority campaign for 2011-12 is focussed on widening access to Scotland's colleges and universities.

Colleges and students’ associations across Scotland will be campaigning throughout the coming months to protect colleges from the impact of the Scottish Government's proposed budget cuts by lobbying MSPs and college principals to protect student support, places, quality and local access.

Budget for Bursaries

Budget for Bursaries, the SCVO-shortlisted Campaign of the Year, generated over 30,000 emails to MSPs and secured £15m in bursary support for college students and an additional £7m for college places in the 2011 Scottish Budget.
